After last year's return from its pandemic-enforced hiatus, SGIS will be held in its rightful place at the beginning of March.

Exhibiting and participating in the SGIS Annual conference every March is a great opportunity for school suppliers of all kinds to develop contacts in these schools and fly your flag.

Venue: International School of Lausanne -  a well-located venue for this event which is accessible for teachers from Geneva, the mountains, and Bern, Basel, and Zurich as well as central Switzerland.

Participants: 300+ delegates representing many of the >50 member schools of SGIS. Teachers and principals, directors and department heads.

Exhibition location: the exhibition will be arranged in a central area of the school designed to benefit from delegate movement flows, and where delegates will take refreshment and meal breaks.

Apero: An evening 'Apero' (drinks and light food) will be held for all to attend in the exhibition area on the Friday evening.

Conference theme: 'Research and evidence-based practice' exploring "what research and experience says about how schools and teachers can ensure that their students receive the necessary knowledge and skills to thrive".

Exhibition setup: Thursday evening 7 March (time to be confirmed) - please ensure all exhibits are prepared on Thursday so that they are ready for delegates to visit at 8am on Friday morning.

This is an informal, table-top exhibition. A branded tablecloth or banner and plenty of interactive display items are recommended. The most successful exhibitors at SGIS are those who participate in the conference as delegates, attending sessions and interacting with delegates. The most successful exhibition displays have items that can be touched and discussed and thought about.

Accommodation: Please arrange your own accommodation. Most hotels in Lausanne are in the city centre and/or by the lake, 30 minutes from the school by public transport.

Travel: Geneva is the closest international airport with excellent rail links to Lausanne directly from the airport (50-60 minutes).
